So anyway...
In my twenties it used to be every day, whether I had sex or not. But now in my mid forties quite rarely. Following my vasectomy 3 years ago I find that I get testicular pain if I go for more than 4-5 days without ejactulating (quite normal according to my doctor) so if it's going to be longer than that before I have sex then I will masturbate (for medical reasons!!). But that will only be about once or twice a month.
How often we have sex varies greatly. Sometimes we'll have sex every day for a week and sometimes we won't have sex at all for a week. But I think we are pretty well in tune with each other regarding how often we both want sex. I find it very hard to give any kind of average. Maybe overall 3 times a week. But that's a wild guess.
See above - I would definitely masturbate more often if I didn't have a partner.

When I was in my teens I did it a lot- three to four times a week. After I got married, my husband and I had sex every night so I stopped doing "that" and didn't do it for years. Maybe once or twice every six months or so in the shower, but other than that, not at all.

It's totally different when I'm in a relationship. Then I want sex every day, if possible. What varies then is the amount of time spent - some days just getting each other off is the goal, other days it's more leisurely and more about connecting.
